Qurious Crafting Overview
Qurious Crafting is Sunbreak's endgame augmentation system for R10 weapons. You spend materials from Anomaly Investigations to add stat boosts (attack, affinity, element, etc.) to your weapons.
Each weapon has a custom table that determines which augments are available and their max levels — not every weapon gets every option.
Slots & Augments
Before adding augments you need Anomaly Slots (up to 7 upgrades, each adds 1 capacity point to your weapon's base capacity). Then you spend those points on augments:
Max levels vary per weapon table. Some weapons get bonus slot capacity.
All upgrades are sequential — going from Attack 1 to Attack 4 means paying for levels 2, 3, and 4 individually. The tool calculates these cumulative costs for you.
Materials
Upgrades cost two things:
- Afflicted Materials — monster-specific drops from Anomaly Investigations, gated by your AR level.
- Afflicted Material Points — universal currency earned from any Anomaly Investigation.
The Materials Breakdown page shows what you need across all your weapons, and the Farm Plan maps those materials to specific monsters and AR ranges.
Anomaly Research Levels
Your Anomaly Research (AR) level determines which Afflicted monsters you can fight and which materials you can obtain. Higher AR unlocks stronger monsters with rarer drops.
Key AR thresholds:
AR 1–30 — Low-tier Afflicted monsters (A1–A3). Basic augment materials for early R10 upgrades.
AR 31–70 — Mid-tier Afflicted monsters (A4–A5). Nargacuga, Magnamalo, Rathalos, Zinogre, and more.
AR 71–110 — High-tier Afflicted monsters (A6–A7). Rajang, Gore Magala, Furious Rajang, Scorned Magnamalo.
AR 111+ — Endgame Afflicted monsters (A8–A9). Risen Elder Dragons and final augment materials.
Set your AR level in Settings so the tool can show which materials and monsters are available to you. Monsters above your AR level will be marked as unavailable in the Farm Plan.
Farming Tips
- Focus on a few weapons at a time. Use the star icon on the weapons page to focus specific weapons. The Farm Plan and Materials pages will filter to show only what those focused weapons need.
- Check the Farm Plan by AR level. The plan groups monsters by the AR level required to access them. Hunt the ones at your current AR before pushing higher.
- Track Afflicted Material Points. Every Anomaly Investigation rewards points alongside specific drops. The Materials page shows your total point cost so you know when you have enough.
- Use element filters. Both the Farm Plan and Event Quests pages let you filter by element weakness. This helps when you want to optimize a single hunt for multiple weapon upgrades.
- Share your build. Everything is stored in the URL. Share it with friends who play the same weapons, or save it as a bookmark to track progress across sessions.
